Barista

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team at Slide Coffee PH. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional customer experience by crafting high-quality coffee beverages and ensuring the overall efficiency of our coffee shop. You’ll work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment while maintaining a positive, friendly attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages with care and attention to detail.
  • Ensure that all orders are made to customer specifications and served promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar and dining area.
  • Operate and clean coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment.
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and communicating with management on restocking needs.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, offering recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Handle cash and process payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
  • Previous experience in food service or as a barista is a plus but not required; we are happy to train the right candidate.
  • Basic math skills to handle cash and transactions.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Enthusiasm for coffee and learning about different brewing techniques.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and a passion for providing great service.
